Whilst carrying out extra research around the genre of horror, I've found this video quite helpful and has given me extra hints and tips towards creating effective horror scenes for our trailer. This video has help demonstrate how the use of lighting can create tension in a shot and emphasis on the most important aspects that we as directors want the audience to see. Additionally the use of camera angle to evoke fear and scare the audience is also demonstrated in this video through shaky and quick cutting shots to give a sense of chaos and discomfort to the views.
The information gathered from watching this video will help us throughout filming as we can use some of the techniques that the video shows us and in editing too; with reference to how music/sound can play a big part in creating a tension building scene.
